You posted this before it went final.

Actually, I did not sir
I posted it exactly at the same time as the batter was rung up.

Then why is the score wrong?

i just want to say how much i hate Gary Glover,
he is a waste of a spot in the bullpen. the only time i feel ok having him come in is when the game is WELL in hand, and even then i HATE seeing him. i think it’s time we release him and bring up Balfour or Thayer or someone else who deserves a shot, and can be more then just a “we are 10 runs ahead/behind and we need someone to get some worthless outs” kinda pitcher…

With Hammel set up in the bullpen to do long relief
Glover really has no role here that Balfour could not be better at. I don’t think he’s long for this team.

Replace that with Howell and you'd be correct
Howell is clearly our long-reliever. Hammel is as expendable as Glover right now.

Howell
He can be a long reliever, but that isn’t his dedicated role. He has been used in the seventh and eighth innings of close games, so the team appears to be broadening his relief role.

Actually, I think they may go with 11 pitchers
It’s been tough for them to get some guys innings lately, especially the way the Rays starter have been pitching. Also, with Aybar coming back, I don’t think that there is a more deserving guy to go other than Glover. The position players are holding their own. There may come a point we have to release/send down Zobrist/Gomes/Hinske/Floyd. Those are the guys IMO that would be let go.

Why are they sending Glover out?
Do they need to proove a point that he’s terrible?

They were hoping to save the good parts of the bullpen
Unfortunately, it didn’t work.

If we can keep this through July
Is there a more dangerous team at the deadline?

We have more
ammo than any team in recent memory. Plus, we’ve got big league ready kids like Price to call-up and help the team.

I think they're going to find Natalee Holloway
before they find Sir Sid’s strike zone.
