This is (Hopefully) Garza
Good gracious what a start. 8 innings, four hits, two walks, 10 strikeouts on 114 pitches with roughly 68% being strikes. Outside of the pitch count you couldn't dream up a better start, especially considering the seemingly new found variance in his pitches. Of course the Rangers have hacked quite a bit this entire series, but still, thisi a much needed assurance that hey, Garza can strikeout people too.

DL likely. Balfour is the favorite to be called up.

If it's Balfour
I would prefer the Rays let him get his feet wet in non crucial spots and let him earn his way into the 7th inning of a close game.
Personally, I’d hope that it is Niemann.

Garza
benefitted from a generous strike zone but his curve was also on display today. He’s filthy when his full repetoire is working.

about the strikezone
he was like maddox out there, to some extent. working the edges out further and further it seemed.
2 of his 4 hits allowed today were flukes
