I agree
I’m abstaining simply because I thought they were all worthy and I couldn’t pick.

toughest vote evah
Jackson should get it, but Wheeler’s 10th was legendary.

Our understanding of the MVP vote are too far apart for an intelligent conversation. Have a nice day.

WHEEEEEEEELLLLEEEEEERRRRRRRR!
Bogg’s 3,000th hit will not only be the best moment in Rays’ history, Wheeler’s 10th Inning heroics on May 8, 2008 should also be included.

I would say JP over Navy
That man pitched three solid innings in high pressure situations. Navy just added the cream.

None of these
Navarro is still fat. Edwin only pitched 8 shut-out innings, not 13. Wheeler worked himself out of a jam that he himself created, and Howell is paid to go out and pitch three innings.
My MVP? Shawn Camp.
Actually, I voted for Howell. No way we make it far enough in for the Rays to start a rally if we have to use as many relievers as the Jays did. He’s like having another starter in the bullpen, and having a guy who can step in and give you 60 pitches out of the bully when needed gives your team a huge advantage in situations just like this.

While Wheeler gave up that triple
Just about anybody in LF other than Gomes and that is an out

Actually, the whole idea behind the reasoning in the first paragraph was to discount everybody and set up the joke in the 2nd. I know that normally that ball is an out, so much so that I think that if Gomes was in right and that ball was hit to right field in the same fashion, it’s probably even an out there since Gomes normally plays right field; but I still think that Howell was the MVP because he made Toronto eat up their bullpen while preserving ours. I have no doubt in my mind that the escape act Wheeler put on to get out of that jam would be something even Houdini would envy, I just think Howell’s contribution was more substancial. Howell gave us a chance to win after Wheeler made sure we didn’t lose.

Colter Bean threw three scoreless innings last night for da bulls.

This was the hardest MVP vote this year.
I chose Jackson. 8 innings of shut out ball is amazing. If he gives up just 1 run the game is over in the 9th, beyond that nothing else would have happened.
