It looks as if he is starting to pitch with Vero Beach, and is being successfull. 1.35 ERA, i mean not a lot of innings but the strikeouts are there. Does he have a future in our bullpen? He was i think the 8th overall pick and i would hate to just write him off like we have in the past. I dont know if anyone has seen him pitch lately, but after price went out last outing, i think townsend came in and pitched pretty good according to his stats.

if a big if he can say consistent, how long before tb moves up wade davis to AAA and peter gammons thinks that david price will be up by september on bbtn yesterday

i see no reason why not
his first year was taken by catastrophic injury, and his first year back was really not horrible for it being his first professional year. seems he was promoted too high when they sent him directly to AA, now he’s back where he belongs and can progress properly.

Hard to think of WT moving up
so close to his demotion to VB. Let him dominate for a while down there if he can. He has yet to put anything like a solid season as a pro.
