When is Jackson scheduled to pitch?

The suspension kind of messed up my internal clock. When is he scheduled to go? I’m mainly asking because of the ESPN game next Wednesday v Boston (DiceK is the probable). I’ve heard from one person it is Jackson (which is what ESPN has it as) and some others that it is Kazmir (due to the suspension).

Saturday.

By my count Kazmir next Wednesday.

Thursday: Garza
Friday: Kazmir
Saturday: Jackson
Sunday: Sonnanstine
Monday: Shields
Tuesday: Garza
Wednesday: Kazmir

Thanks

ESPN isn’t factoring in Jackons suspension. They have him pitching tomorrow and Wednesday. This actually works in our favor having Kaz v DiceK on ESPN next Wednesday at the Trop.

Let's hope it's not a jinx...

foresight is a much better way to look at it.

If they can accumulate footage on a 500 foot home run and add it to a 275 foot fly ball then I’m all for it.

Does anyone know JP Howell's contract?

if i remember correctly, he’s only under a one year at this point? is that correct?

by davidsmarch on Jun 26, 2008 10:48 AM EDT   0 recs

Doesn't matter....

He only has 1.007 yrs of major league experience. He is not even arbitration eligible yet so he’ll just have to settle for what the club gives him. The smart play will be to give him a 10% raise above the standard offer because he is the team MVP this year to date.

by Jason Collette on Jun 26, 2008 11:07 AM EDT to parent up   0 recs

He's under contract for at least the next four seasons.

After I finish with something I’m doing for BTB I’ll write up a post detailing how this stuff works.

Shock and awe

The looks on the faces of the other players is priceless. It’s kinda like the look on my face when Hendrickson would randomly throw a good game for the Rays.. disbelief and amazement.

Outstanding. Pure perfection.

I swear to god, RJ contributed to that piece.

“Fuck you Edwin, you good-for-nothing piece of shit,” Mendicus was overheard as saying while angrily clicking the “Refresh” button on his web browser 14 times after pitcher Edwin Jackson loaded the bases with three straight walks. “Throw the ball over the goddamn plate. I need a win here, you idiot. I’m getting killed in wins.”

NBA draft tonight

Magic are apparently considering Lee, Speights, Thompson, Dorsey, and White.

by R.J. Anderson on Jun 26, 2008 11:43 AM EDT   0 recs

Dorsey???

Awful. Shooting range 4 feet in, is only 6’5” so he is a tweener for the NBA, has zero ball handing skills, and is an arrest waiting to happen.

Go $$Rays$$

My Simulator has the Rays with a win probability today of 50.59% (basically a toss-up). Vegas has it at 53.49% and AccuScore only 48%. The simulator also has the over/under at 8.95 runs.
Good luck!!!
