Playoff run
Today, June 26th, 2008, I am officially a complete and unreserved believer in the Rays as being playoff contenders this season. Anything less than the wild card will be somewhat disappointing, they're the favorite for it.
Link is relevant to the situation.

From an Oriole Fan
Hey, I just registered for your blog to say how great it is that your team is doing so well this year - am very happy for your team and fans. Hope you go all the way. By the way, am also thrilled by the O’s year so far - we expected to be totally in the toilet.

They have definitely exceeded expectations
Im glad we dont have to play Baltimore again until after the deadline (I’m assuming of course that they will take the wise move and sell.)

i'll second that...
...Rangers fan here.
Now, we just need the Buckos, and Royales (with cheese) to complete the “worst-to-first” trifecta.

The American Express Card
Don’t defraud the IRS without it. :)
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; but if a thing is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.

Beat me to it.
The first thing I thought of when I realized what this was is “I don’t recall hearing about Crawford not doing his taxes.”

If they did a scoreboard commercial with this, it would be hilarious
Cliff Floyd = Tom Berenger
Jonny Gomes =Charlie Sheen
Troy Percival = the old pitcher (forgetting his name)
Carl Crawford = Wesley Snipes
Carlos Pena = Pedro Cerrano
Actually, it would be a great way to push ticket sales if they ran it on the local media channels

I definitely remember Bartlett having a Dorn moment during the Wednesday Cub game.

My signature
My signature for almost 3 years now has been Devil Rays World Series 2009. We pick up another frontline starter and a RH home run hitter with some skill and I am going to have to change my signature. I believe this team has turned the corner and the playoffs are a lock if we can just hold our ground the rest of the season.

Good luck to the Rays
The folks that know me on this site know I’m a Boston fan living in Orlando, but I’m pleased to see the Rays doing as well as they are. I hope it continues, and will be rooting to see you and the Red Sox in the AL Championship Series in October.
The truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off.
