PrintFrom what I can tell he had a perfect game through 5 and got pulled in the 6th (prior to giving up a hit). Looks like he had numerous K's also before he got yanked. Vero won 5-1 and Sarasota mustered two hits.
From what I can tell this was his final line

Not too bad for being overshadowed by David Price for the time being. They both should be in AA within a reasonable amount of time in my not so expert opinion.

if they move price and hellickson move up then they have to move up davis
i wouldve put mcgee to move up too but i think he needs some more time in AA but i think that wade davis is ready for AAA and should be in the big leagues for the 09 season at some point i hope.
Question.
How come Helickson was pulled so early? Am I right to think that his line might be a bit deceiving according to pitch count?
Why would they pull him mid-no-no?
Hopefully he’s headed to AA now.

Looked like he was balling it up. 5 innings, 7ks. No walks. Doesn’t look like a high pitch count that took him out of the game.

i realized that
i’m just a beckett hater. i think he is vastly overrated because he throws gas and has pitched well in the playoffs. kaz>beckett
