Hey Gengler,
Any thoughts where to put Beckham in the prospect list?
RJ is not an elitist douchebag who hates scouting
Well...
Price is ahead of him and our clear #1, for sure. I’d say McGee, Davis, and Hellickson are above him, too. Then it basically comes down to him vs. Brignac for #5, and I’d give the slight edge to Brignac, but if Beckham comes out mashing and hits well this year, he can pass Reid on the off-season list.

No. 6, really?
You have him that low? I’d place him at No. 2 or No. 3, depending on Wade Davis.

Draftee..
25th Rounder Josh Satow started for ASU tonight in their super-regional game vs. Fresno State.
Line:
3.2 IP, 5 H, 6 ER, 1 HBP, 2 BB, 3 K
Not-so-good.
Longlorious.

Anyone see the article on ESPN Fantasy Baseball Page?
Kyle Lobstein was considered a sleeper, and compared to an Andy Pettite/Tom Glavine type. Hell I’ll take that.
#5 Mike Sheridan signed
Do you happen to have a link for that?

I was in the room ...
I was present at the signing. I have digital photos, but I don’t know how to post one.
That's good enough for me.
Thanks.

Interesting that we know where most of the draftees are going, but people in the org apparently don’t.
Well..
We know where about 10 are headed, not “most.” And we have no idea what’s happening with the guys who played at Princeton and HV last year and haven’t been assigned to a full-season team this season.

It just seems odd. They have a game on Tuesday and no players? All these players have to travel, move in, get set up to live there. And there’s getting unis to fit, equipment to the clubhouse, etc. Seems awfully rushed. Plus, their so young, some have never been away from home before. I would think you would want a week to get them settled in, familiar with the town and so forth.
But to your point, true, we don’t know where all the guys in extended spring are going. And I can’t wait to find out!
Smith and Long
9th rounder Shawn Smith is on Princeton’s roster.
34th rounder Matt Long signed and is also on Princeton’s roster.
If Jeremy's signed, then Tim won't be that far behind.
It would be hilarious, though unlikely, if both brothers made it to the big club together down the line.
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; but if a thing is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.

Guys I consider important to sign
2. Kyle Lobstein – You have to sign your 2nd round pick
4. Ty Morrison – You have to sign your 4th round pick
15. Brandon Meredith – Toolbox
21. Ryan Carpenter – I think he’s every bit as good as Lobstein
29. Brandon Magee – Toolbox
37. Kramer Champlin – Named after the Seinfeld character. Come on.
