Francona will not do that for an exhibition. He will either forfeit (doubtful) or move a position player there somehow and leave a spot open i.e. basically forefiting. He will not injury Kaz’s arm.
Any of the position players in right now could go in and they would lose the DH
not a big deal if you have a position player pitching anyway

It’s just the way the rotation/timing worked out,, he pticehd Sunday and pitched over 100 pitches.

The doctors did a great job with Kaz in the winter. Hell, I didn’t even notice the scar on his elbow until May.
