I think I heard slightly below average, but don't quote me on that.

I've seen Mason pitch a couple times this year
and I think he has a pretty good future in the bullpen. He throws a decent amount of strikes but doesn’t have overpowering stuff. He can locate is pitches very well making it tough for hitters to hit the ball hard. I think, much like JP, you allow major league hitters to see him 2-3 times in a game they will be able to find a pitch and hit him hard but in 1-2 inning outings he can be very successful.

As for Guzman
he has been by far one of the most disappointing players I have seen come through Durham. You look at him and you can see the power dripping off of him and you can see where one day this kid could hit 30 homers in the majors, however right now he has trouble with off speed pitches (although he is getting better) and chases outside of the zone way too much. He does have good speed and his glove while not great, isn’t so bad it will cost you many games. I think he is a guy who could eventually make it in the majors but if we can include him in a trade I would do it.
