nice win, but we still only scored 4 runs....
9 = 8

This is baseball, not football.
Four runs is enough on a lot of days, especially when your pitching staff is good.

Who cares .... Lets look at his fielding
Not to mention that Bartlett is the better SS and a right handed bat that is sorely needed batting .327 off of lefties something else that is sorely needed. It would be interesting however to see if they could platoon him in at right field. Versatile bat could come in handy, and he cant have too many throwing errors over there. Not enough to make a difference like you can at SS. Then you have Hinske and Aybar platoon at DH. Lastly get rid of Gomes …. oh I forgot he hit a homer today so we can’t say get rid of him today. Fine get rid of him tomorrow.

People all of the sudden so high on Zobrist?
I’m not going to take anything away from two clutch home runs in this home stand, but that doesn’t justify him earning a roster spot.
Welcome back Barty!

I am glad Barty is back.
We wouldn’t even be having this discussion if Aybar weren’t hitting so well. Zobrist was supposed to be the utility infielder/outfielder before he broke his thumb. This is a great problem to have. Benzo will be first in line if a roster spot opens up. Even though Aybar most likely has better numbers, I would rather have Zobrist up based on character alone. I don’t forget past domestic violence problems as easily as some. Finally, if Gomes doesn’t start hitting more consistantly, I think the FO should offer him Raymond’s job. He would be awesome, plus he would be around in case there are any more brawls.
