i think that he is signed through 2010 right?
no way that the jays trade him within the division though, any team interested in trading for him would have to give up alot of prospects for him since he is the best pitcher in the AL

He'll make $30 mil over the next two years.
And I don’t think he’s the best pitcher in the AL.

Then who is?
Because he’s definitely in the top 3.

And I don't really care how much he'll make over the next 2
Seeing as we are already locked into a very low period over that period.

who's better than holliday?
the AL’s best pitchers of the last couple of years (sabathia, santana) have joined the NL so who do you think is better than him?

He's up there
Halladay isn’t worth Price, but he is a great pitcher. Ervin Santana, Felix Hernandez, Fausto Carmona, Joe Saunders, Jared Weaver, Cliff Lee would join a younger list of pitchers that may be better than Halladay at this stage. Even Verlander who’s had an off year as of now would be a better choice. With the losses of Harden, Sabathia, Santana to the NL, the arguemant for Doc being the best in the A.L. is there though I’d give the best A.L. pitcher honors to Josh Beckett as of today.
