posting the revelent paragraph here since it must be 75 chars ;)

NATIONAL EXPOSURE: Fox announced Friday it has picked up the Rays-Orioles game from Tropicana Field on Aug. 30 for its national telecast. The game time will move up from 7:10 p.m. to 3:55 p.m. to accommodate the change. Fox had previously picked up the Rays' Aug. 23 game at the White Sox.

Those two Fox appearances in eight days will equal Tampa Bay's exposure on the network in the franchise's first 10 seasons.

Have a question

Are these games shown nation wide or only in certain regions of the US (FOX games of the week)?

I don't know if Fox is doing regional games...

...but I know the game won’t be blacked out for this market. Fox is the reason why the Rays cannot broadcast games before 7 (Fox’s MLB contract gives them exclusive broadcast rights for this timeframe). So we won’t be able to watch the game through the Rays network, we have to watch it on Fox and listen to Joe Buck talk about how there are no more men left on the bench.

I don't care if it's the Orioles

People better buy tickets and sell out the game.

Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; but if a thing is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.

They need another summer concert after the O's game

to make sure the attendance is respectable…I’m thinking either Foreigner, or maybe even Billy Idol. Has there been any Huey Lewis and the News sightings? They might do it. Then again, if they could swing the Pussycat Girls…

It's great that they got a local band to play

that has a little success under their belt, but did they even TRY to get the Pussycat Dolls???? C’mon guys in the front office…get your mind off the trade deadline, and get your priorities straight!
