Seriously, every time I look at this photo I start laughing out loud.
The photographer got it at the PERFECT moment. The placement of ball plummeting behind him, the arms out in confusion, the flat-footed stance, the bubblegum, hell, even his facial expression.

but pena isn’t pujols. and i didn’t expect him to essentially sacrifice himself on the first couple pitches. but when he was down 2 strikes he should have changed his approach. we were losing the game and the team is STRUGGLING to score runs. he knows that pretty much any contact will score a run yet he didn’t adapt. i don’t have a problem with pena, it is a team wide problem. pena has been playing fine lately. i think when the team is struggling like we are you need to start manufacturing some runs. we can’t rely on the 3 run homer. especially when we are losing
