Hilarious reading to take your mind off the Rays woes

I had never heard of Dirk Hayhurst (AAA Portland Beavers of the San Diego Padres system) before reading the Non-Prospect Blog over at Baseball America. I don't know if he'll ever become a big league pitcher, but he can sure tell a story. I laughed so hard that I cried. It was a nice diversion from dwelling on the Rays recent offensive struggles, which also make me cry but for very different reasons.

On of my good friends played college ball at JU
He said they literally made their bus driver puke one time on a road trip. He stopped the bus, threw up and continued driving. The bus smelled so bad, it made him nauseous. He was proud of this.

Gotta ask though, what are these Rays “woes”? Did I miss them falling five games out of first or something?
I was referring to
the Rays inability to score runs lately. More specifically their inability to hit with runners in scoring position. Sorry, but it makes me a bit nervous.

also every team in baseball is going to go through stretchs like this and soon this offense is going to be upgraded termoudsly with the return of rocco this weekend and the possible trade for jason bay
