I think we must deal one of our starters this year.
I understand that you can’t get enough pitching but at some point one of our starters is going to have to go to clear up the logjam a little. I’ld like to hold onto Sonny, but I would be willing to deal any of the guys based on who can get the most in return. I’m not talking about Sabathia; some A or AA high upside outfield prospects would be nice.

I'd rank them in terms of trade value
1a. Jackson
1b. Niemann
2. Sonny
123901290. Hammel
234048989423893489232892389. Glover

Be careful here!
Why is there any need to make a move at all? Niemann is sitting in reserve as needed, along with the lower prospects. Jackson and Sonny are doing the job now. Hammel is there with no real pressure to move.
Stripping experienced pitching depth is the worst thing a team can do when in a playoff race. Pitching injuries happen at the drop of a hat. These guys (possibly excepting Hammel) should not be moved for anything but that which serves immediate needs. Moving either Sonny or E-Jax means Hammel or Niemann move into the rotation, a position they haven’t earned. Don’t make moves that aren’t required!
And definitely not for a minor league OF.
