1.62 WHIP but only a 4.19 ERA
All of those ground balls. Jeter has the best range in all of baseball according to the Yankee fans so we’re totally doomed.

I have to admit
I couldn’t believe he got to the ball last night where he got Navi out at second. That was a nice play, but honestly Navi got the worst jump humanly possible. He didn’t even start running until it was about in Jeters glove.

Navi had a terrible jump
I couldn’t believe he was out by that much given how slow that ball was hit and Jeets had to impersonate a ballerina to get that ball off.
Bartlett would have made it look routine :)

Hitting better come alive tonight.
I noticed in the previews that Hinske, Iwamura, Navi, Pena, and BJ are all 500 or better against Ponson this season. As long as its not another game like Monday where they get LOB…

What about Salas
I was a huge Salas fan last year. i know he walks a ton of guys but he can throw multiple innings and his command has been slightly better this year in Triple A. Seems like its about time for him to get a shot at upgrading what seems to be a declining bullpen.

That's definitely an option worth looking at
Reyes will probably displace a position player when he comes back, but Salas has got to be the first choice in Triple A to replace any struggling relief pitcher thereafter. The problem is that the team also needs to activate Percival as well, and once those two get back, I think the team will be mostly satisfied with the status of their bullpen. Through it all, one of Glover or Hammel will remain, so there are still weak spots. That being said, I don’t know that the team will be pro-active in replacing either of those two given that Hammel has value but not options, and Glover has not been THAT awful lately.

I guess it would take a trade
Even then however, a trade would likely be targeting a relief pitcher and not eliminating one. Salas might have to wait for the rosters to expand to get his chance to show something.

Carlos Pena personal fan, Gary Glover mop, Troy Percival game of Operation, Edwin Jackson signed copy of Mein Kampf, JP Howell radar ball (just slam it against your hand and you throw 102mph!), a mini-refrigerator from Dioner Navarro which he had to take off of his own back, and a BJ Upton hammock.

My point:
- Why can’t Sean Gallagher step into the A’s rotation without them missing a beat? He’s more of a groundball pitcher than Harden which plays into the Oakland defense’s hands, ranked first in defensive efficiency. Gallagher is only 22 and his K/BB ratio is 2.23, Harden’s career K/BB ratio is 2.25.

He spends more time on the blog...
Talking Rays baseball, then you spend in going to games and thinking of baseball. GOing to games is an absurd way to judge a fan.

I didn't offer you the tickets...

I'm not taking someone's tickets because I don't want to owe anyone anything.
That was pretty obvious in my first statement. I’ll be attending a few games over the last 30, will it be more than you? No, but frankly I don’t care.

Doesn't seem like ...
you really care if it’s shit. And that doesn’t explain how accepting tickets would be improper.
