Around SBN: Jeremy Lin And How The Pac-12 Missed Him

Livan Hernandez; Lo Duca; F. Lopez

Livan Hernandez is expected to be DFA by the twins in order to make room for Francisco Liriano... Any possibilities that the rays try to pick him up. i think he would be a good veteran presence in either the bullpen or end of our rotation in order to better our chances in the playoff run. Lo Duca and Felipe Lopez of the nationals were also said to be released... Lo Duca would had a great bat in our line up. What does everybody else think! Let me know!

Livan is really, really not good.

Doesn’t walk or strikeout anyone out, allows a ton of homeruns.

He is just awful

If we sign him or ol red eye I will be so pissed. I really don’t want any of this crappy Bowdin trash I’ll break something. This is when esoteric comes and tells these players are actually good and Bowdin is a great GM.

i have always liked felipe lopez but dont see a spot for him since his glove sucks and he is inconsistent

Ah, Livan, LoDuca, and FLop.

All former Nationals. All worthless. God my team sucks.

I root for the two worst teams in baseball, non-ironically.

someone please explain to me why juan salas hasnt been called up yet!

he is better than hammel, miller and reyes. i think i our bullpen needs some improving with those 3 guys getting cut and replacing them with juice, niemann and sonny/price whoever they want in the pen or the rotation in that last one. our bullpen would just be dominanting with those 3 guys being added in our pen as juice has been dominanting AAA all year, they should convert niemann to a reliever so it will save his arm and i think he could be the RH version of jp howell and sonny’s future is the pen anyways and price can either be our version of joba chamberlain or fransisco liriano either way i hope he these guys get called up soon since i dont have that much confidence in reyes, miller and hammel.

craig monroe

guy got released as well and could be a decent upgrade if we were desperate for a right handed bat. having a bad year but change of scenery could do him well. possibility?

this is not the place to ask for players here who's names you recognize

If you do, you should think of a good reason like career numbers compared to our current options. Monroes career OBP of .301 is not going to get much attention. The above posts speak for themselves with the rest of these guys. Our internal options are still better than any of these.

Meh

LD% has dropped four straight years, he’s been unlucky this year for average, but his HR/FB% is high for him. Career wise he hasn’t really hit lefties as well as some of our other options, or guys like Scott Hairston/Matt Murton.
