LONGORIA AND PENA FOR GOLD GLOVE?

I must say they both deserve it in my mind.

AL Gold Glove's in my opinion

1st Base: Carlos Pena

2nd Base: Ian Kinsler

3rd Base: Evan Longoria

Shortstop: Nick Punto

Right Field: Jermaine Dye

Center Field: Grady Sizemore

Left Field: Carlos Quenten

Well some of these are completer blanks because i blacked out well anyways i wanna hear yours.

P.S. Does anyone know if hellixon is going to 3A this month. Or later?

Ian Kinsler?

This is GG not SS right?

wow, is this sarcasm?

Ian Kinsler is one of the worst fielders at second base. The same for Quentin in the outfield, and Dye is below average, too.

Longoria’s at least above average, but Scott Rolen and Adrian Beltre have been fantastic with the glove.

And I know Pena has the reputation and love from Rays fans as a good fielder, but the stats don’t back that up. That might be wrong, but I think it should go to Youkilis or Kotchman.

In center, Sizemore’s a good choice, as Granderson seems to have slipped this year. Historically, Granderson’s a stud. The other option is Carlos Gomez.

Top AL fielders, by an average of STATS and BIS zone ratings (not that this is the end-all of the discussion):

Runs Player
19 Ellis
18 Rolen
18 Beltre
14 Gutierrez
11 Scutaro
10 Sizemore
10 Rios
10 Gomez
9 Figgins
8 Crawford
8 Polanco
7 Hannahan
7 Cabrera
7 Cabrera
7 Aybar
6 Jones
6 Barton
6 Longoria
6 Kotchman
6 Izturis
6 Gonzalez
6 Guillen
5 Crede
5 Lowell

It would be hard for Kotchman to win an AL GG

since he was traded to the NL

Vogt early, Vogt often.

does that auto-DQ him?

dare i mention Palmeiro’s gold glove?
