CC's having the surgery
Crawford is going to have surgery to repair his tendon. He'll be out a minimum of 6 weeks , which puts his return at the end of September. That's the best case senario.

They could have him on the postseason roster with the understanding his only role will be a pinch runner?

At least he's not waiting to do it
If he were to try to rehab it, and needed surgery anyway, he would be out for good.
But CC is replaceable than Longo, who will be back sooner.
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; but if a thing is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.
Longoria is much mor needed because Crawford has the worst k/bb on the team and averages 3pitches per at bat...
Longoria will be sometime between 15 and 19days
They do it all with gills!

I meant CC is more replaceable than Longo
