Another minor league debut
Heath Rollins makes his AA debut - 7 IP, 9 Ks, 1 BB, 4 H, 1 ER. He's looking more and more like a future big leaguer by the minute.

he looks like future bullpen or trade bait to me
he have alot many pitching depth and i could see some of them being traded for a RF or a DH in this offseason
Longo=ROY. Friedman=Executive of the year. Maddon=Manager of the year. BJ UPTON IS NOT LAZY! ! ! Gabe Gross= clutch. David Price is the next big time pitcher.
Also
Hellickson tonight: 7 IP, 6 hits, 3 runs, 0 BBs, 10 Ks. And no home runs allowed.
Oh yes
Talbot had his 6th straight excellent start tonight going 7 innings and allowing 6 hits, 0 runs, 1 BB and 5 Ks. In those 6 starts he has gone 38.7 innings (never less than 6 innings) and allowed 33 hits, 5 runs, 9 BBs and 42 Ks. There was a 1 inning outing in there that I have not included. I don’t remember whether he was hurt or it was a relief role. He gave up nothing and struck out 1 that time.
talbot should be called up sept 1st
he has turned his career around this year after struggling last year and would help out our pen, and if any injurys should happen down the stretch to the pen, he is eligible since he was up for about 2 days lol, hellickson has been doing much lately at AA, after struggling at first

By the way
Have you noticed that the Rays recently picked up Carlos Hernandez, a lefty pitcher who was once a decent prospect with Houston? He is 28 years old and no longer a prospect, but in 5 appearances he has allowed 2 runs (both in his first outing) in 13.1 innings on 6 hits, 2 BBs and 14 Ks. The ERA is 1.35 and his ground ball to fly ball ratio is 1.89.
