What are the initials B.J. short for?

Although I'm sick of hearing about this with the team winning, ironically, Larry Stone of the Seattle Times has come up with the answer to B.J.'s initials.

As much as I think this whole BJ things has been blown way out of proportion, this is pretty funny. I appreciate throwing a little humor into the mix. But, let’s also give BJ some credit when he does good things (you know, like leading the team in SBs and the game-saving catches he’s made in the outfield – think about that Cleveland game, which came at a critical time this season when the Rays were trying to overcome the prior sweep at the hands of the Indians. That catch probably won the game and eliminated one of the last memories of the 7-game losing streak.

Little known fact about BJ Upton

His real name is Melvin Emanual Upton, so you could call him “ME” Upton just as easily as it could be BJ (which really stands for Bossman Junior, in case you didn’t know). Ok, enough of this BJ stuff, I just couldn’t resist this little known fact… (www.9equals8.com)
