ORLANDO!!
Where are my Rays fans from Orlando!?? How can we get to games for cheaper?? Do the Rays have any more promotions????
Im always watchin My Rays Games on ION - The quality is alright, and the announcers are decent --
What about the rest of my Orlano guys and girls - How do you get to the games? Are there promotions? And, Whats up with Ion??? To tell you the truth, I think that the Rays should have been orginally in O -town, but thats OK, its not too bad of a drive -- what do you guys think???

I go to one game a month
I’m going over on Friday night with 3 other friends.
I have DirecTV so I see every game everyone else does. If you’re on Dimhouse Networks – change.

I listen on gameday audio and go to a game or two a month
I think the trick is get at least 3 other people so parking is free and you can split gas 4 ways. The drive really isn’t so bad either if you have other people. Lastly, I know it is a pain in the ass getting up early, but if you can get to a Sunday afternoon game there is virtually no traffic. It took me an hour and 45 mins to get from Dean & University to the Trop. No Joke. Normally it takes about 2 hours just to get to Tampa.

hahahah Ion is a lot better than Dimhouse – I agree! Splitting it up between a couple people is an Idea I need to take up!
Sandy – why do you listen to gamedfay rather than watch on TV???

I canceled my cable to save money
Half the games are on FSN which Orlando doesn’t get on “dimhouse” so I figured what the hell $15 a year and I like how they call a game. It allows me to get other stuff done while it is playing in the background. Plus between gameday and the jokers on the GDT I stay amused.

Get DIRECTV
And get a pair of rabbit ears for the HD games on ION.
I'm laughing at the superior intellect.

What ears do you use?
Been looking at getting a decent pair to watch the games on ion in HD and for any other local channels that don’t come through in HD over DTV.

Cheap Bunny Ears
Best Buy has a black RCA basic antenna for $10 and it will get channels for about 40 miles away HD and SDTV. I live in Viera (north Melbourne) and I get all of the Orlando channels and ones near Vero Beach. The Ion games will be in HD about 1/3rd of the time, but the quality of standard non-hd definition on the antena is better than watching it on DirectTV or cable.
IF only Harry Carey could be arounde for Kosuke.

Going to the Trop
I think the Rays need to offer up a bus service for all the orlando fans over here, or some kind of promiton that would get us Orlando fans over to the games more often… Is there anything available like that?!??
i like a bus service idea if one doesnt exist – what other promotions can we put into motion that would get us over to the Trop????

Forget the bus service.
You Orlando guys just need to coordinate a carpool. There’s this site with a thread where several Orlando guys talk about the Rays….
