Brian Fuentes is put on waivers!
So is Willy Tavares from Colorado, but I don't see us getting a shot because we are so far down on the waiver list. I also don't see the Rockies trading him, just feeling out what they could get for him.

Probably pretty high
Seeing as all they need to do is win 28 of their next 30 to get back in this thing.

So you're going to replace who?
He wouldn’t be brought in to replace either of our existing lefties. Once Percival gets off the DL, someone’s gotta go, I’ve never been too keen on the idea of telling a closer he needs to do something other than close for a ballclub.
Fuentes hasn't been closing for a while now IIRC
He could replace Miller. It undoubtedly improves the team if they make this move, and Fuentes is much more of a given than Price.
It’s all moot anyway, since there’s about a 0% chance that Fuentes makes it to the Rays before being claimed. The Dodgers have every reason in the world to claim him.
Vogt early, Vogt often.
Even if he slips past LA
I don’t see how he makes it past the Mets (who aren’t listed as an interested team but would be retarded to not grab him).
DAVID PRICE
He is a lefty. He is free. He is good.

Not happening.
Apparently Fuentes was placed on the bereavement list, and, as a result, wouldn’t clear waivers until after Sunday, which would be too late for a deal.
