I arrived to the game on August 28th, 2008 around the time of first pitch. As most of you know I am the kid with the "This is Garza" sign (If not you now know). Well I got into my seat today and around the 2nd inning I look over to the dugout to see Andy Sonnanstine pointing at me and calling me over. I quickly hop over to the dugout to see Rocco and Andy standing there. They pull out a sheet of paper and go "Is this how your sign is?". 
They had it wrong so I had to critique them. Rocco then goes "Where is it from?" I reply "You know in the movie 300?" to which Sonny interrupts and goes "Yeah dude." Rocco then remembered the scene and we had a good laugh. They then asked who Garza was kicking in and I said "It was originally a Ranger but then we made it generic" Andy then goes "Here you keep a hold of this and bring your sign to a game so we can compare. I gladly thanked them and went back to my seat with the coolest memorabilia I have ever gotten.

I have not seen
Any of the “big three” (sign lady, big fat upper-deck sign guy, cowbell kid) in several days on TV now. I wonder if someone finally got the hint that we don’t want to see these attention-whoring fans all the time.
I like how Justin P. pretty much completely lambasted these three idiots by doing an entire show about them last week on 620. Apparently, Cowbell Kid is racist, Sign-Lady in addition to being a bandwagon-riding attention whore who stole the whole sign idea from the big fat sign guy (the dude in the upper deck) and only cheers for the Rays because she has a daughter dating ‘an upper level Rays exec’, and the aforementioned big fat sign guy hates being called fat.

The Kid wasn't there last night.
At least he wasn’t visible in front of the scoreboard as far as I could tell. So that’s probably why you didn’t see him, not to mention the fact that hardly anyone was in RF, so it would have been bad TV to show the Kid and his crew surrounded by a sea of blue seats.

Not only was that an awesome sign idea...
I’ve also decided to try and scream it at a random time if I’m ever at a game that Garza is pitching at…
The last game I went to was the Angels game on ESPN, and I tried screaming it during the first pitch, but I couldn’t hear myself on the tape when I went home, probably because my voice isn’t loud enough all the way in right field.
I’ll scream that and “RUNNNNNNNN! GOOOOOOOOO! GET TO DA CHOPPAH!” which has zero to do with anything, but I do it anyway…
