ESPN Radio
I travel quite a bit for a living and have been listening to ESPN Radio on Sirius this morning. The lead story on every sports break is that with last nights loss to the Mariners - the Red Sox are only 2 1/2 games out. The tone of the story is the Rays are folding due to this loss (In the 9th inning of just one game).
The Rays are playing at about a .680 clip since the All-Star Break and the story should still be on the "Never Say Die" Rays - but they always have to slant it towards the Red Sox taking over in the East.

people will always have the slant of the Sox taking the east,
they are the world champs, wouldn’t you? though most of these people have probably never watched a rays game, so i wouldn’t take their opinion highly.

I really wouldn't sweat it
If you’re not the Red Sox, Yankees, Mets, Cubs, or Dodgers, ESPN doesn’t give a shit about you. They’re the Fox News of the sports media.

Almost Rec'd
But Rec’ing anything that has to do with Fox News goes against my hatred of Fox News.

You mean they weren’t talking about Favre?
Not even Eddie Vedder’s singing of “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” or other insightful or important sports issues?
