20:1 – That’d be 4 nights in a row and he’s gotten shelled the last three. The Sox will go to someone else tonight if a save situation arises to them. Only if it goes to extras, and he’s probably the last bullet in their bullpen if it gets that far.

I have no idea why Hernedez is the backup
but I assume Navarro pretty much starts every game anyway. Longo took batting practice and is expected back Friday! As is Upton!(who can PH tonight). CC comes back the last week which is only like 2 weeks away….
Has anybody else seen how these injuries coming together can be good for us?
Not saying that I would rather have DJ than Bossman, or have Crawford, and Longoria out of the lineup…
but here’s what these injuries do FOR us.
BJ: Has a few days to nurse his shoulder, and he’s shown that he’s hitting better with less BP….
Crawford: Wasn’t he having knee trouble or hamstring trouble? Something with the legs.. he’ll come back with fresh legs for the beginning of the playoffs, and that will pay dividens.
As for Longoria: There’s not really anything good about this, other than he’ll be well rested.
Percival: I know he isn’t injured, but when he is injured… he’s off the mound…

You will see if you go there. I recommend it as they base a lot on SoS. The only drawback as that can cause a league bias so just look at AL against AL, etc…

I like this lineup to work the count on Beckett all night and hopefully chase him in 5 or 6. Johnson Hinske Floyd. Can we be patient, get a few walks early, avoid the double play (Bartlett!)?

A lot has been talked about the Rays pitchers, but the media seems to miss just how good this line-up will be in like 1-2 years, when they’re all playing together. Manny was like a zombie with us
Don’t take too much from his numbers with the Dodgers, he was pretty bad overall in the 2 weeks or so before his trade. He acted like an asshole over and over again this season. No matter how great he is, I’m actually sort of glad we got rid of him.
