Boston wins coin flips for playoff home field
Boston won both coin flips to determine home field in case a playoff is needed for either the AL East or AL Wild Card.

I don't think they should have one-game playoffs
With the exception being games played for the final playoff spot. It seems tie-breakers here would be much more logical in situations where both teams are going to the playoffs anyway. Seems like the prospect of playing a tie-breaking game disadvantages BOTH teams if they make the LDS.
