I don't know that Fernie actually has more range
it’s just that he runs MUCH better routes. Upton gets crossed up by the ball a lot. Perez immediately moves towards the spot where the ball is going to land. Thus, he covers more ground, but if Upton learned to run better routes, he’d probably have just as much range.
Upton has more arm than anyone on the team, possibly anyone in the league. Obviously Upton has more arm. Perez’s arm is more accurate, but I’m not sure that matters considering his arm is basically a limp noodle.

This is a good site, a great site actually. I did what I felt I should have and it’s over now. I’ve moved on. I will still blog here and still support my Rays here, even if there are a bunch of juveniles that frequent it.
