God, I love the Heater...

Topkin must be bored, as it appears that he spent most of the morning cutting and pasting the columns of the Boston papers.

I especially liked this quote from the Globe, "Kazmir, who still hasn't taken that turn toward elite status that Jon Lester has..."

Am I crazy in thinking that Lester hasn't proven himself as well as Kazmir in any respect other than throwing no-hitters and recovering from cancer? Did the Red Sox win the World Series last night, cause there fans seem to think so?

I would agree to some degree

that Lester has “figured it out” more than Kaz thus far. Kaz as far better stuff but there always seems to be something wrong with him that’s in his head.

pitch count, delivery/mechanics, next dime bag, who stole his huka when he was passed out on the shitter….

Would you call him elite though?

How about would the Rays trade Kaz straight up for Lester? Would the Sox trade Lester straight up for Kaz?

Boom. Outta Here.

Considering his track record against the Red Sox,

I would say they would take that trade.

Thinking about it for second they might try to throw in Masterson for Kazmir and not Lester.

The truth is, in my opinion the Rays would be the losers in the trade, not the Red Sox.

wrong

He’s the same age and has more big league success. He also has better stuff.

Rereading it I see that
Thinking about it for second they might try to throw in Masterson for Kazmir and not Lester.

That confused me because Lester is probably more valuable.
