Joe Morgan Chat Wrap

Chris (Orlando): Hey Joe, How far do you see the Miracle Rays going this season? Thanks

SportsNation Joe Morgan: It depends on whether they get Longoria and Crawford back healthy, and I'm not sure when that's going to happen. It's going to be tough for them to go deep into the playoffs without those two. Once you get into the playoffs, though, everyone can win--even Wild Card teams have won the World Series in the past few years. But I'm not sure their three top starters could match up with the top three of the other playoff teams.

Ugh.

Actual Joe Morgan Quote:

“See what you wanna do hear kids is score more runs than the other team. If you do that you will nearly always win. Don’t do drugs, stay in school, and always pull out.”

BTW not an actual Joe Morgan quote, but he speaks so well.

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

He had another great Rays related answer...
Jesse (Biglerville,PA): Can the Red Sox catch the Rays?

Joe Morgan: I don’t think they do. The Rays have more of a chance of falling backward by playing poorly than the Red Sox do of jumping forward by playing well. The Red Sox would have to win a lot of games to catch them. But I do believe the Red Sox will be the wild card team.

That whole statement gave me a headache.

Boom. Outta Here.

Well, you see, the Rays won’t make the playoffs because of the Trop:

I feel like that ballpark will hurt them in the end, becasue it is so hard to be consistent there, where teams think they can score runs. You need a big home field advantage, and I do not think they have it.

Purveyor of inane douchebaggery and general snarkiness

Just yet another guy to prove wrong.

He fits in well with everyone else who says the Rays can’t do it. Go Rays!

If only there were some website out there that made fun of Joe Morgan on a regular basis...

Also, I’m legitamately shocked that Joe Morgan could name 2 players on our team.
