Playoffs = Yes, Primary Directive = No.

Well, all it took was 92 wins. The Tampa Bay Rays are going to play in October. I giggle just thinking about it. I'm giggling while writing this, like, right now. How awesome is this? In one 3 year span we turned from the Mid-Nineties Bengals to the '72 Dolphins. From Sergio Garcia(In Majors) to Tiger. From the the number zero into the number bagillion. From Amy Winehouse into anything else.

But honestly I don't care. I just don't care. Until we win the division and cement ourselves as historic legendary legends and mysterious myths, and until Troy Percival strikes out Aramis Ramirez with 2 on and 2 out to win the world series on October 26th, I won't be satisfied. And neither should you.

WIN THE DIVISION

Don’t stop now. Win the AL East, and send the Red Sox on a hopeless trip to Anaheim.

If for nothing else, for sticking it out.

Man deserves it. I hope he makes it back for the playoffs.

I might weep in my hands with joy

if that happened. God, I hope he makes it back in time.

Unlikely scenario

Troy Percival pitching in a meaningful situation in the playoffs? God I hope not. He is the one downer of today and the future…

Please get rid of Debbie Downer here.

Today is not the day to be bitching about this shit.

Think about it.

Take a look at how this team has played throughout the year, and compare it to the Bucs super bowl season and the Bolts stanley cup season. Tell me this team doesn’t look JUST LIKE IT.

Had to forward my congratulations to all here

Especially those of you who were here in the darker days last year. But to newer entrants I extend the same positive feelings.

Soak it all in – there’s no need to worry about what else happens today. If it does, great, but that’s for then. Don’t denigate at all what’s already been achieved

Today is for unbridled celebration for you guys. Tomorrow is for tomorrow.

And be safe out there!

When I was at the Indians/DRays game last year and Brian Stokes went Brian Stokes...

…I wanted to swear off the team for good. But then I got HD, and fell in love with baseball all over again (I highly recommend it for anyone that is still waiting around for it). Thank god I stuck around.

Can you dig it?

Anyone see Jonny Gomes and his scuba mask? That my friends would go for top dollar on Ebay. No matter what happens from here on out, I can die a happy man.
