Really, other than Hernandez, this is my ideal roster, not necessarily what I think the org will do.

ya in a perfect world

we use Jaso over Hernandez and Johnson over Hinske but Maddon loves those 2 useless players, hopefully neither(especially Hernandez) get next to no time

for once, we have a guy ahead of schedule

first they said ALCS or WS then ALDS as a pinch runner and now he could start the ALDS. So awesome to see him yesterday and had that lightning speed we all know and love.

they wouldnt of activated him now if they didnt think he couldnt be heatlhy enough to at least PR in the ALDS, but now i think he might even start

I might have forgotten someone important….and I myself am a Niemann apologist. I think he has nasty stuff (potentially) and is an upgrade over Hammel at long reliever. I understand the shortcomings of both Aybar and Zobrist, but their versatility and power potential make them worth having on the team. Need the LOOGY….Oh and Kaz. Here’s my thing about Kaz: I love his stuff, I think he’s fantastic, but looking at his whole season’s worth of work only THIS YEAR, I think that Sonny’s been a better pitcher. I think that, were Kaz to start a game in the post-season I would be scared…more so than if the Duke started. Just IMO.

I have trouble believing that they'll leave Percival off the playoff roster.

I know that in a coldly rational move it would be the right and smart thing to do. However, in the real world, I just don’t think Maddon will be able to bring himself to do it.

Does anyone believe that Maddon might leave him off the roster? I know we all think he should be left off.

I think if CC is healthy enough, Hinske will be left off

Hinske’s positions are LF(bad), 1B(meh), 3B(ugh), RF(bad) and DH(doesnt have the bat) so if he can use Crawford, he wont need Hinske

I really think

that we should give serious consideration to Zobby in the regular lineup. He seemed to be pretty decent on defense, and I don’t think even the sun is hotter than he is with a bat right now. Keep riding that streak and then switch him out when he starts waning. At the very least, he’s better than Hinkse.
