I imagine they sat down to a game of chess and discussed the merits and consequences of the expansionist doctrine of the East Indian Tea Company and how that led up to expansionism as a whole and the colonial system that soon followed as well as the build-up to today’s free-market globalized economy that strives to be efficient at the cost of worker’s rights.
