UGH
All we needed was one win to head into Boston on a high note. That's not the biggest deal. Garza threw another great game but didn't get any offensive help what so ever. David Purcey is a 6+ ERA lefty who we should be able to crush. He has made us look like a little league team twice in a row. Oh well. Hopefully we can crush Lester tomarrow and E-Jax gives us a chance. Let's lift our Fenway Curse!

Lester vs. E-Jax?
Yeah. Good luck with that.

There is always hope
that Lester will be on an off night. If the Rays want to stay on top they HAVE to win tomorrow

Bay
Hope the centerpiece of the trade-deadlinegate doesn’t burn us this series.
Any word on whether Longo will play in this series?

He might pinch run or defensive replacement.
The earliest he might start would be Wednesday. He should be back for the Yankees series

I look at every game against a lefty starter as a loss
and I’m rarely disappointed.
Lester has held us to a 1.46 ERA this season with 12 strikeouts and 2 runs in 12.2 IP.
Edwin has a 6.19 ERA against Boston with 29 baserunners in 16.1 IP
9-1 Boston wins tonight is my prediction

i think it is going to be a closer game than that
if the rays can limit lester to 6innings i think that the sox pen will blow it and the rays win, i just hope that percy doesnt blow it again, if he does it better cost him his job but i doubt it
Evan Longoria=ROY. Andrew Friedman=Executive of the year. Joe Maddon=Manager of the year. David Price= the next best pitcher TB Rays fan 2002-the day i die!
