A Tip of the Hat

It was the 1st inning, Navarro puts down a single digit between his legs and shakes his head NO. Did anyone else catch it? Jackson preceded to throw a slider on a fastball called. What's up with that you ask?

I bring this up because just after that happened the Bosox bats went dormant. Tampa Bay has caught onto the Red Sox cheating ways at home. In the 90's in Cleveland cameramen would flash a green light in the CF stands to signal a fastball. I am not saying that Boston may have been cheating by a cameraman picking up signs and signaling the pitches being thrown. I'm saying the damn cheaters  were doing it and the Rays caught them as they immediately changed their pitch calling signals.

Alls I gots to say is "CHEATERS" were busted. May the worst, whining, crying fans go straight to hell with the Football equivalent Bill Bellicek. May the Red Sox lose all their games the rest of the way out.

TWO WORDS:

FUCK BOSTON!   It's time to kick some Red Sox ASS!

That's a pretty serious allegation

If it were the case we will find out tonight. It probably had more to do with E-Jax adjusting and throwing like a man, not the man-child he entered the season as.

And a TRUE allegation!

I have never seen Youkilis and moreso Lowell and Pedroia flailing at pitches like they were. These guys have been tipped off be it by a light, the ondeck batter tapping his bat twice, a high pitched sound from above, Boston knows what’s coming, I am 100% positive of it.

As pompous as I may appear to be, in truth I have an aggressive nature. I also played SEC baseball in the 80’s in which our coach was an expert at what Boston is doing, stealing signals. We’d have a schill in the CF stands that would hold up a banner when he saw fastball.
Boston is cheating. I watched Navi’s signs and they were hidden well. The on deck batter or coaches would not have been able to see Dioneers signals. Boston is CHEATING!

And this is for you Anderson.

I'm not sure they hit enough better at home

to think they’re cheating – most of the difference can be accounted for by playing in a hitter’s park with no foul territory and two short fences.

Home – .300/.380/.481
Away – .271/.346/.427

That’s the second best split in the league, after the Rockies, so this might hold a little water, although one would think the split would be even bigger if they knew the pitches that were coming.

Anyone able to check how big the difference is for away teams?

Say this is correct

Do you expect MLB to do anything about it? I don’t.

Once we are up 5-0 in the 9th I say we bring Percival in and plunk as many guys as he can

The pros will be that we get them back plus Percival will be suspended.

Ummm... earth to John 63.

Are you serious ??? This is what passes for baseball analysis in Tampa Bay ?? Yikes !

Come on pal… the Red Sox bats went dead ‘cause your guy pitched better. Jackson left the ball out and over the plate in the first inning and the Sox made him pay… that’s all it was.

Furthermore, the Boston Red Sox don’t need to cheat to beat the Tampa Bay Rays.

Ray's Fans

This just in…

Major League Baseball commissioner Bud Selig has announced that the Boston Red Sox baseball team will forfeit the remainder of the 2008 season. It appears that evidence has surfaced that the Red Sox were caught stealing behind-the-plate signals during last nights game with the Tampa Bay Rays. The identity of the informant remains a mystery but sources say it may be a disgruntled fan out of the Tampa Bay area.

Said manager Tito Francona “I want to know who the fuck turned us in”. “How the hell are we ever going to beat this team now”.

Rays manager Maddon added “No wonder Bay’s homerun was hit so well”

More later…

I think they were also shooting illegal video of Rays BP and warm-up session

before the game, at least that’s what Bill Belichick told me. I thought it was a little odd for him to be calling me about this, but hey, it’s Bill Belichick, and he’s an odd dude. I didn’t even consider questioning the validity of his comment, especially in light of his MVP QB being placed on IR. I didn’t want to upset him any further.

I'm with you R.J.

John 63’s thread is stupid and not very funny at all. Insulting yes… funny no.

I’m outta here, gotta go to the gym.

Good luck tonight Rays.
