It might be considered treason to even say that.

Hmm... I would have thought that Navarro had put up more wins than that.

That was a steal if he continues to play at his current level, or – God help Ells’ SB totals – gets better.

For those children who claimed they’ve been a fan of their favorite team all their life, or even since they were about four or five years old: bullshit. There’s always that certain event or certain player that draws to the sport and draws you to a team. For me, Nomar Garciaparra was that reason. - Nick Coviello: I Try To See Rocco, But All I Think Is Nomar; 1/9/09

WAR for catchers ignores defense...

…according to this article

So if you think Navarro plays good D you could argue for a slight bump that makes it pretty much a wash already, and Navarro is much younger than Hall/Hendrickson, so it’s likely to swing in his favor going forward. Also, remember how bad his first half 2007 was.

True.

Didn’t know that. Thanks.

Is it too late to get Hendrickson and Hall back?

Anyway, as I was lying in the puddle, I think I may have found a way for us to get Bonds and Griffey, and we wouldn't have to give up that much.
