Orvella is next
Might have been nice if they could have done this before Rule 5.
Vogt early, Vogt often.
Orvella is already off, IIRC

Can anyone explain WHY we wouldnt have done this before the Rule 5 draft?
Why keep a guy protected who has no future?
If Im not mistaken Ryu was taking up a spot on our 40 man both when Hamilton was taken and when Morlan was taken. I figure you would rather keep a guy who has talent over a guy who will never make it out of the minors
Ryu wasn't even a Ray when Hamilton was around.
If you’re going to bring that shit up at least do some research beforehand.

Quite honestly, I'm a little sad to see him go.
I always had hopes that maybe the Rays were working with top South Korean scientists to secretly install advanced bionics in Ryu’s right arm. With funding by the Rays and years of Korean technology and research invested, the results of the operation would allow Ryu to throw harder with more movement and more accuracy than anyone in MLB history.
My guess is the operation was a failure, and the Rays finally had to cut their losses.
That would've been awful for the osprey population.

Great pic.
For those children who claimed they’ve been a fan of their favorite team all their life, or even since they were about four or five years old: bullshit. There’s always that certain event or certain player that draws to the sport and draws you to a team. For me, Nomar Garciaparra was that reason. - Nick Coviello: I Try To See Rocco, But All I Think Is Nomar; 1/9/09
Is Dewon Day better then Morlan and Ryu?
Anyone? Anyone?
