Question for those of you who have had mlb.tv:After a game is over and it becomes archived can you download it to your hard drive?

I think you can, but from waht i've read...
it seems they can just change the DRM whenever they want which caused a huge problem a year or 2 ago when they did just that. people had downloaded the games so they could watch it over and over again and mlb decided to change something and it removed the ability to watch those shows anymore. I’ll look to see if i can find it.

If you get the games on cable or satellite

I had EI last year and I was thinking of doing mlb.tv this year.
I almost never watch the games live so I used to DVR them. Now I have Tivo HD and can transfer video files from my hard drive to my tivo. So if you can download games I was thinking of getting mlb.tv since I will be able to watch them on my tv.

You won't be able to download them in anything but a proprietary format exclusive to the MLBTV player

Guess I will be going with EI again. Unfortunately, I have Comcast now as opposed to directv which I used to have. This means less games, especially in HD. Ugh.
