The change in start times for Friday makes sense
Gives people more time to get to the stadium on a night they don’t have to be home so soon. I have always noticed that Friday games seem more in line with weekday attendance numbers than weekday. Maybe this will help.
Nothing else really changed. Not that I was attached to 7:10 and 1:40 (Sundays), or that it really makes much of a difference, but I’d be interested to know why they decided to move them up two minutes each. Any thoughts?

Also
Judging by the May start times on Saturdays, and a few of the 4:08 weekday starts (ESPN?) it appears the networks are finally treating the Rays like a real major league baseball team.
