PrintI will be buying a PS3 soon for The Show 09 which will be amazing. So therefore I want to get some of your PSN names so we can play games together and have happy times! :D

Starting with the front-end aspects, the PS3 Create Player system has received some new editions that will allow you to customize even more aspects of your player. With the new Sounds Of The Show feature, we’ve been able to support audio customizations that will allow you to pick not only your batter walkup music, but also your reliever entry music and a home run celebration song. In addition to editing custom music, you can also create custom fan chants, cheers, and jeers to assign to your player (or any other player using the Edit Player feature). The player accessories have also seen upgrades to support a variety of new items including: wrist tape, batting gloves in pockets, glasses, eye black, baggy pants, and stirrup socks for your old schoolers. But the player customization doesn’t end with the Create Player process — we’ve also added in the ability to edit your player any time after creation. You won’t be able to edit his position or attributes, but you will have full reign on editing his appearance, accessories, and the all-important player number."

Has anyone looked at the new MLB Front Office Manager game
It comes out today and I am picking up my reserved copy tonight.
Not being able to edit the attributes is lame
Half the time they screw up how good a player is or how bad. That is really lame, I like making a player better when they deserve so ie.. Howell last year was awful attribute wise, so I bumped him up. Now I wont be able to do that? Booo, they cant just keep the things that work so well and add on to it? That was one of the features I loved about the game last year, in season adjustment editing.
Yeah this article was about created players. I'm sure they'll allow you to edit regular players (so you can make the Rays all 100s)

I think I said this before
but the only thing other sports games (Madden) has on The Show is the player raitings & contracts.
I like the numerical values on players rather than the way it is now. I also think the contracts are much more realistic in Madden.
I did not get The Show 08 so I’m assuming its still the same from 07.

Can online work better?

Can you go online to update every team with the correct rosters and/or minor leaguers?

You can download minor league rosters too? How would that work exactly?
Download it from your computer to a memory stick
and transfer it to your PS3 or just use the browser on the PS3 and download it.

Tons of new animations, but I didn’t hit a batter. There’s a cool one where the batter falls to one knee when he’s really fooled on a breaking pitch. There’s a cool one where the catcher takes one in the gonads, goes down to both knees, puts his face to the ground and the ump calls time. It lasts about 15 seconds and is pretty funny.
Oh, Thome got hit, slammed his bat down, started up the line and turned around to yell back in at the other dugout, picked up his bat, then threw it down again and walked to first in disgust.
If you like presentation, trust me, this game has it. A batter swung and threw his bat into the stands, put his hands on top of his head like “oh, my god, hope that doesn’t hit anyone”."
Presentation is my favorite part of sports games. so sold. Can’t wait! Tuesday is my PS3 day :D
