DRB Suggestion Thread

What we have planned:

- 3 interviews within the next ~week. Two with players, including an all-star.

- American League previews.

- More prospect stuff.

So, what do you guys want to see covered over the next three weeks? Oh, and what do you want from/in GDTs/recaps/ect.?

We're open to (almost) anything, but please try and maintain realistic expecations.

at least one honest answer from the ‘all star’ or from the other interviews, something that says they have as much passion as we do about this thing not just the ‘one game at a time’ answers, if you could get that I would be content until the season began.

love the site

i click on my DRB button at least 4-5 times per sitting at my computer. one thing though that i’ve noticed that has taken away from my experience lately is the increased incorporation of statistical abbreviations that i just can’t seem to keep up with. i appreciate that this seems to be the way stats are evolving, i just find myself getting lost in the meanings of these stats. maybe if you had a little index somewhere with some definitions of the most common ones you guys are using it would help me catch up. however, if i’m the only guy who’s lost – don’t worry about it.

Also, if you have specific questions...

feel free to email me or one of the other writers (I think I have my email public and hope the others don’t mind), but anything we can do to clear things up and spread the good word of sound statistical evaluation is great. I know I would still be banking on RBIs and ERA if others hadn’t been willing to show me the light.
