Is it just me
or does it not seem that long age when our team never took walks and was an OBP nightmare. Back in the days of Crawford, Baldelli, Harris, Hollins, Hall, etc, it seemed like our whole line up was full of agressive no-walk hitters. Now we have three elite walk artists (Burrell, Pena, Upton) and aside from Crawford and Bartlett, everyone else works walks well. Even Bartlett really had a down year in the walk department and has been much better in the past. I wonder what has changed since then? Oh yeah, Friedman and Maddon. Nice.
