Steve Henderson Removed
I'll miss Hendo, if only for nostalgic purposes.

Well, I guess Rudy Jaramillo might be available.
No idea what he brings over Henderson or anyone else though.
Well we need less home runs and walks but more bunts.

This is bizarre
amazing offensive year, decline in pitching…and the hitting coach gets fired and the pitching coach is retained.
Most clichesque word ever, 'amazing'
I think we’ve pointed out how inconsistent this offense was, and i don’t point the fault at any coach for that
While losing Henderson doesn't surprise me
I am a bit dumbfounded they’ve declared Hickey’s return for next season.
This
You could make a good case to fire either. But generally, the offense did a better job of meeting/exceeding expectations than the pitching staff.

You're going to blame the hitting coach because the GM signed streaky hitters.
Rays 09 hit better than Rays 08, random variation is random variation
Rays 09 pitched worse than Rays 08
It's questionable that the 2009 Rays hit better
The team only scored like 30 more runs over last year, and half the time couldn’t score at all, and a lot of the players never got better over the year

Not pissed about the move
Just confused.
All I really wanted on the coaches front is Hickey fired.
1. James Shields 2. Wade Davis 3. Matt Garza 4. David Price 5. Jeff Niemann
I can see a case for removing both Henderson & Hickey
I assume that Hickey is “in” with Maddon, and whist Maddon is around so will Hickey.
