I hope the Phillies lose
I hope the officiating is terrible. I hope the Rockes get an amazingly wide strike zone and the Phillies get squeezed on ever single close call. Finally, I hope there is a snow storm that reeks havoc on the game totally throws the Phillies off of their game. In some ways, i would be extremely happy!

I hate the Phillies for this reason
I felt like it wasn’t an even playing field in the WS. The umping was terrible
Bring Your Z-Game!
I agree.
At work I have to hear from a Phillies’ fan, who has lived here for 7 years, all day every day. We talk about the world series. He calls me bitter and says I need to stop being a sore loser. I reply, I don’t know if the better team won the world series. I know that it took three forces to beat the rays (mother nature, bad umpiring, and the Phillies). So, we go round and round. It doesn’t help that I have to see the Henske strike out almost every day on MLBN. Nor does it help in Feb. when the MLBN first started they rebroadcasted every game of the World Series. So, i was reminded of how bad of the Series it really was.

It was bad for both teams
Remember Rollins getting HBP and Kerwin Danley not calling it?

There were bad calls both ways
but the calls against the Rays far outweighed those against the Phillies. The difference in strike zones is what I have the problem with
Bring Your Z-Game!
I admit that the umps were terrible for teams. But, the strike zone is what pissed me off the most.
It was an even strikezone, to say the least. Maybe the Rollins HBP was “supposed” to make up for the no call at third w/ Evan tagging Rollins on the backside.

who would possibly care?
I’m retired and can think of better things to do than that
You're retired?
Your comments that you have posted over the last year or so have done a lot to ruin the stereotype of the crotchety-bitter retiree with nothing better to do but be negative. Are you any relation to the the following two people?

Apparently, not you.
More power to you. it’s just a fun way to remember the players that have played before for the Tampa Bay Rays. You don’t like it? Go watch Matlock.

No, just dirty-old and perverted.
Why? mainly because of the girls wearing skin tight clothing or short skirts sweating over guy problems. But, no you are not stereotypical in that aspect. Grouchy and annoying, yes you are… for the most part.

Why don't you marry him?

Is there ever decent weather in Philly during October?
Could have swore I saw a gust of wind swoop up Fowler in the outfield and move him 30 yards.
You care to give a reason?
Or are you going to just spew out statements like a geyser of useless information?

Doesn't surprise me coming from you.
I understand where you are coming from. But, I think it’s enough statement in it’s self that that over the what? Past four years the wild card winner has come from the AL East. The last thing I want in the bay area to hear some self-loving Northeastern prick, who has never or hasn’t lived in the Northeast for long time pound on their chest and say that the Red Sox or the Yankees are the greatest. Can’t stand it. I have had to deal with that sort of crap for way too long. I hope both team get eliminated quickly and people like Dan Silly-o can shut the hell up.

No, he's right.
There’s a non-zero but small chance he would’ve repeated his NL performance in the ALE. Doesn’t mean he would’ve been bad either though.
