This seemingly doesn't make much sense if the Rays get Bradley.
What are they gonna do, stick him in right field to hurt himself? I mean, if he stays healthy and doesn’t lose his head, he’s a + defender, but he hasn’t been able to do both of those at once for his entire career. Matsui sure as hell can’t play the outfield anymore, he’d have to DH.
I can't wait until we trade him for a reliever.

I assumed this would be if Burrell went in a non-Bradley deal

I don't know what the price would be, if hes cheaper than Burrell then I'd be game
I don’t trust his power surge due to the new stadium in NY. All things equal, I stick with the Bat to rebound. Matsui’s health also a big issue.

I wrote about him a while back.
I wouldn’t be a huge fan of him unless it’s cheap and one year.

I'd imagine Al Davis will sign him to a muti-year deal based on his WS

Speaking of which
How much awesome is it that Al Davis may be the verge of firing his second coach WITH CAUSE in two years?

Per Babelfish translation of site link from the site linked from draysbay:
It seems pretty clear to me that this move has already happened.
“The [a] league Matsui you obtain one after another, [ri] participation! Raising interest
Raising interest was shown in Matsui. It comes already and the outfield of season, both DH the regular is fixed, but every rub discharge of the DH barrel which is caused presently in the midst of examination.
Friedmann GM it is not the case that it is not interest, you said. Club of the [a] league one after another while setting forth the direction of participation, as for club of the [na] league which does not have DH system contrast. Because 1 times of this season also it has not been engaged to defense, doubt apparent we did the state of both knees, we made the policy hitter reinforcement keeping ascertaining also Giants [sebian] GM of urgent business prudently clear."

Just got an email from John Romano
Reads: from St Pete Times(they send me little sports updates)
Prepare for Crawford’s farewell
Talk to the contrary, the Rays’ star is likely to leave by the end of 2010.

As far as Crawford goes
Is his value at it’s peak now, or does anyone think the package we could get would be greater at the deadline when teams will know we need to unload him. I’m thinking if we can get a max package for him now, it may be time to make a move. I don’t agree with way the Marlins run their franchise, but they do seem to have a good idea of when to unload guys at their peak value in order to get a good return.

Marlins though are trying to at least start to legitimize themselves
They’ve got to clean up the mess that was the 90s Marlins still, just like the Rays have to clean up the pre-Friedman GM era, it’s like the team is only 4yrs old almost.
