Larry Rothchild (manager)(1998-2001), Jason Tyner(2000-2003), Geoff Blum(2004), Hideo Nomo(2005),  Jae Kuk Ryu(2007-2008), Joe Dillon(2009), Shawn Riggins(2006-2009),

Larry Rothschild managed the Devil Rays to a record of 205 wins and 294 loses and was the first manager in franchise history.

Jason Tyner was traded by the New York Mets along with Paul Wilson for Rick White and Bubba Trammell. Tyner would go on and play in 232 games where he would have 173 hits, 20 doubles, 5 triples, 1 homerun, and batted .261.

Geoff Blum was traded by the Houston Astros for Brandon Backe in 2003. Blum would go on  and play in 112 games where he had 73 hits, 21 doubles, 8 homeruns, and batted .215.

Hideo Nomo would earn 5 wins and 8 losses over 100.2 innings pitched and sported a 7.24 ERA over 19 games.

Jae Kuk Ryu was traded in 2007 by the Chicago Cubs for Andrew Lopez and Gregory Reinhard. Ryu would appear in 18 where he woulhd have an ERA of 6.93 over 24.2 innings.

Joe Dillon was traded by the Oakland Athletics for Adam Kennedy in 2009. Dillon would play in 15 games where he would have 9 hits, 1 homerun, 2 RBIs, and batted .300.

Shawn Riggans appear in 64 games where he would have 38 hits, 8 doubles, 7 homeruns, and batted .202.
