Could Navi be the key to theBradley/Burrell trade?

Does this make sense according to the numbers?

Star-divide

The Cubs don't really want Burrell but want to get rid of Bradley. The Cubs also need a CF and a set up man.
The Rangers are looking for a DH and need a catcher.
The Rangers deal with the RedSox Mike Lowell for Max Ramirez may be in jeopardy due to thumb surgery.
Send Navi and Burrell to the Rangers for Max Ramirez and Darren O'Day
Send Wheeler and Fernando Perez to the Cubs for Bradley
The Ray's get Bradley plus some relief for the second year salary from the Cubs which
they can do since they are not paying Burrell's 9M,
O' Day replces Wheeler as a set up man for Soriano and Ramirez is the back up to Shoppach.

Couple problems here

Biggest of which is that the whole point of trading Burrell for Bradley is thats its a classic bad contract swap. In your scenerio, we would be trading less than 4 million in salary for 21 million in salary. Sure if the Cubs cover half of Bradleys 12 million dollar 2011 salary, we would be fine I suppose, but I really really doubt the Rangers would take on all 9 million dollars of Burrells salary without wanting us to kick in some money, while some how still wanting us to give us two decent pieces. Had the Rangers not already traded Millwood, flipping Burrell for Millwood could have been a possibility but that ship has sailed. Just like with Bradleys case, the Rays would likely need to find another bad contract to swap for. Best case scenerio is still a Bradley for Burrell swap with the Cubs flipping Burrell to another team with a bad contract and a need for a DH or poor fielding corner outfielder.

Oh yeah

and you have the Rangers taking on 2.1 million dollars on with Navi, so thats 11.1 million for two players payed close to league minimum and of decent value, Not possible.

$14 million in salary for $21 million

$2M for Navi + $3M for Wheeler + $9M for Burrell

But the point still stands. If the Cubs are still willing to throw in $4M, then it’s only a $3M difference and is doable, but I don’t know if the Cubs would be willing to throw in the cash if they’re getting less of a return.

Well dealing Navi will reduce the need for some $$$ in return

I think you’d be more likely to see

Rays-MB, O’Day, so so prospect, couple million cash
Cubs-PtB
Rangers-Navi

The Rangers give us O’Day and the okay prospect. The Cubs give us Bradley and a couple million, but not enough to cover PtB

Can we get robots for umpires and a computer to make in game strategy decisions? I'm sick of inconsistently bad umpiring and Joe's pitiful in game management. Oh and Navi (and BJ) need some PED's. BenZo, Bartlett, and Pena do not.

They were asking about him before

and Ramirez is a catcher like Zobrist was a shortstop
