Bright Spots: All-Time (Devil) Rays Team... Third Base
Previous Polls: The Greatest (Devil) Rays to Ever Wear...
*******************************************************************************************************************
All-Time (Devil) Rays Team as voted by the bloggers of Draysbay:
Catcher: Toby Hall (50% of the votes)
First Base: Carlos Pena (71 % of the votes)
Second Base: Akinori Iwamura (72% of the votes)
Shortstop: (Still Pending)
*******************************************************************************************************************
What are the rules? A player HAS to have AT LEAST played 100 games for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays or Rays. If you feel that a player has been left off of the poll unjustly, then make a case for him. All players who have taken the field for the (Devil) Rays will be mention, just not voted on.
Is this poll all about defense? No, not really. This poll is just about voting for your favorite catcher, shortstop, rightfielder...

I voted Huff.
Why? He has more games at third and better “all-around numbers” for the DevIl Rays. I highly doubt that he was going to win. So, maybe I just voted for him just so maybe, in my own way, say thank you to him.
Evan is great. He is a pleasure to watch and really the first potential “super-star” that the Rays have ever had. He just needs to NOT lead the league in Double Plays.
Blah!

CC is finally becoming a superstar
If only we could keep him…
Fire and Ice: Rafael Soriano and J.P Howell.......with their side kick Grant the aussie Balfour!
CC is one year removed from his worst season and just put up his best
He’s been doing this thing for awhile.

Longo is great with the bat and glove
He has minor injuries in his 2 years but seems durable, he is signed very cheap til 2016!
Thank you Hinske for helping us keep a star around cheaply for a long time.
