Remember
These aren’t VWL numbers, Liga Paralela is the minor league version. Mostly teenagers vs the VWL which is the real deal, AA/AAA/MLB/former MLB guys. They mean business in the VWL, going for the Caribbean title.
The ones to watch are the guys who were in the states last year and maybe going to be next year.
So Guevara, Segovia, Cedeno, Bencomo (ugh), Yendis, etc…

We will hold on to Beckham
but everyone(well Bortnick around this August) can b traded and some (Barty, Brignac, maybe Guevera and Bortnick) would all bring something good back.
Fire and Ice: Rafael Soriano and J.P Howell.......with their side kick Grant the aussie Balfour!
Any idea whether Guevera has a remote chance at sticking at SS?
I mean he hasn’t played over here yet, so I doubt the scouting reports are too great. Just wondering if anyone has any idea.
Probably not
He played almost primarily 2B in the Liga Paralela. Obviously nothing is ruled out; maybe they had some awesome defensive SS there, and Reid Brignac was a bat-first guy who people thought would have to move off the position too.
Vroom vroom party starter
